How REROC is Managed

REROC's strategic direction is managed by the REROC Executive. The Executive are appointed by the members at the Annual General Meeting.

The members of the Executive are:

  • Mayor Rick Firman OAM, REROC Chairman, Temora Shire Council

  • Mayor Abb McAlister, REROC Deputy Chairman, Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council

  • Mr Tony Donoghue PSM, REROC Treasurer, General Manager, Coolamon Shire Council (ex-officio)

  • Mr Grant Baker, Bland Shire Council

  • Mayor Lea Parker, Greater Hume Shire Council

  • Mayor Robert (Bob) Callow, Junee Shire Council

  • Mr Gavin Rhodes, General Manager, Lockhart Shire Council

  • Mr Aaron Drenovski, General Manager, Goldenfields Water County Council

  • Mrs Megan Mulrooney, CEO REROC (ex-officio)


At REROC, our dedicated team works collaboratively to drive innovation, sustainability, and progress across our region.

Megan Mulrooney, CEO, brings extensive experience in youth, career and regional community development through working in collaboration, encouraging collective impact, and is passionate about creating positive change for REROC member councils and the communities we serve. 

Dr. William Adlong, Regional Energy & Net Zero Officer, leads efforts to reduce carbon footprints and transition the region toward renewable energy solutions.

Leah Gain, Regional Programs Manager and Waste Coordinator, oversees critical waste management programs and regional projects, ensuring environmental outcomes align with community needs.

Peter Dale, Circular Economy Officer is supporting our vision for a sustainable future, spearheading initiatives that transform waste into resources and promote sustainable economic growth.

Darcie Moon, Administration Officer, rounds out our team ensuring seamless operations and providing invaluable support to both the team and our stakeholders.

Together, we are committed to fostering a thriving, sustainable region.
