National Youth Week Capacity Building Workshop (2014)

Following the success of the 2014 Take Charge Riverina Youth Leadership Forum and Dinner, the NSW Government partnered with the Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) to provide young leaders in the Riverina with skills, knowledge and resources that will assist them to plan and implement effective community projects and events.

Off The Grid Conference (2013)

The inaugural Off the Grid Conference was held on Thursday 14 November 2013 at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Over 70 people from local government, business, community organisations and industry organisations attended the Conference to hear about the significant changes to the energy market over the last decade as well as how to choose an energy provider and alternative energy sources.

Regional BMX Skate Scooter Competition (2012)

The Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) in conjunction with its member councils and YMCA Skate Services held its 2nd Regional BMX Skate Scooter Competition at the Bolton Park Skate Park in Wagga Wagga on Friday 20 April 2012.

Over 350 people attended during the day to watch 50 people participate in 8 divisions.

Strengthening Basin Communities (2011)

This project was an outcome of funding received from the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population & Communities for the Planning Component under the Strengthening Basin Communities initiative.

This consortium project recognised that many of councils in the REROC region had not had the opportunity to explore the real impacts of climate change and as a consequence a future with less water on the operations of councils.


REROC Women in Local Government Network (2009)

REROC established the Women in Local Government Network in 2009 as an initiative to promote the 2010 Year of Women in Local Government and to support the professional development of female councillors and council staff.
