Waste Forum
The REROC Waste Forum was established in 1997 to promote co-operation between REROC member councils in relation to waste management. Since that time it has expanded beyond waste management issues to encompass a wide variety of environmental issues and has been responsible for initiating a number of diverse projects.
The Waste Forum's most recent three-year strategic plan Resourceful Directions, sets an agenda of activities that includes both resource sharing activities that will lead to more efficient and effective waste management as well as community education activities that aims to increase the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices by eastern Riverina residents and increase the diversion of waste from landfill.
