Professional Placements Programme

The Professional Placements Program (PPP) is a joint initiative of REROC and Charles Sturt University. The aim of the project is to provide CSU students with the opportunity to experience a local government working evironment and to obtain work experience that is relevant to their career choice.

Work placements are offered in the following career areas:

Accounting                     Adminstration                      Agriculture                

Arts and Culture            Child Care                           Clerical and Customer Service

Engineering                  Environmental Science         Health 

Horticulture                    Human Resource                 Information Technology

Librarianship                  Management                       Spatial Data and GIS

Recreation Services        Natural Resource Management    

Town Planning               Social and Community Planning                          

Placements are normally held during University vacations but can occur at any time of year. Students who successfully complete a placement are provided with a certificate from REROC attesting to their participation.
